A trip to Sentosa left me with something pretty unique—a bowl made entirely out of waste materials! This eco-friendly piece was crafted from discarded items like old kayaks, luge carts, and plastic juice jugs, all collected from Sentosa Island itself.

This hands-on experience was part of Sentosa’s RISE Sustainability Showcase, where they highlight various green initiatives across the island. From decarbonisation to wildlife conservation, energy efficiency, and carbon sequestration, there’s so much to learn about their ongoing efforts to make the island more sustainable.

As a sustainable girlie, I was genuinely impressed by how well-done the showcase was!

A big thank you to Sentosa for the opportunity to be part of this inspiring showcase. It’s initiatives like these that give me hope for a more sustainable future, one step—or bowl—at a time!
