Circular Fashion Hub

Ever been to a fashion show where every outfit was secondhand?

I recently hosted and attended my first one. And to top it off, it took place on the rooftop of a heritage shophouse, with a hot-pink floor.

Talk about a visual extravaganza!

When my friend and founder of The Fashion Pulpit, Raye Padit, invited me to host the launch of Singapore’s first Circular Fashion Hub, I couldn’t say no.

The Circular Fashion Hub is all about fostering a healthier connection with our clothes. As the name suggests, it’s also a space for fashion brands that champion circularity. Syne Studio, Style Theory, Re-store, muta.wear, Talking Toes, are some of the other brands present in the space.

My makeup and hair were done by students from the Institute of Technical Education (loved the look!) — the official hair and makeup partner and my dress was from none other than Rentadella.

Two of my favourite runway looks were by Vintagewknd – they upcycled old silk scarves into Mid-Autumn Festival-inspired outfits. Talk about creativity!

Whether you’re into swapping, upcycling, or thrifting, the Circular Fashion Hub is a one-stop-shop to get your fashion needs covered ♻️👗

It was an honour to be part of such a significant event, and I can’t wait to see how the hub will shape the future of fashion in Singapore!
