It can get quite overwhelming when deciding to travel in a more mindful and sustainable way cause there is more research to get through! Booking.com recently launched their Travel Sustainable badge that makes it much easier to look for a property that falls under this category…and they span the spectrum! I like that they are recognising properties that may not tick off all boxes that are required to be officially certified, but that still have sustainable initiatives in place. No action is too small : )
Here are a few snippets of my stay at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay, and some habits I practice to reduce carbon impact during a hotel stay. Loving the full sized bath products and having a water dispenser in the room! I was also fascinated by how their 210 rooftop solar panels fully power all their guest lifts!!
PS. I stayed in the Collection King room – the one with the daybed, balcony and cool open-concept sexy bathroom!
