vOilah!

Had the absolute delight of hosting the media preview of my favourite festival for the 4th year running!

The vOilah! France Singapore Festival 2022 came back in full force after the pandemic. Exciting programs included the French Film Festival, the French Foodie Market place, and the opening concert, Jazz au Jardin at the Botanic Gardens, which I hosted as well.

During the media launch, we also spoke about vOilah’s continuous efforts to work towards becoming Singapore’s first net-zero festival through their effort to reduce CO2 emissions. Together with ENGIE, they collected data on the carbon footprint of last year’s festival, and this now allows them to see how they can do things a little differently this year. It’s not easy, it’s gonna take a while, but hopefully we see positive results, and more festivals doing the same.
