With World Mental Health Day happening on Oct 10, I kicked off Mental Health Awareness Month with a Nutrition Workshop on Mental Wellbeing at Singlife!

Believe it or not, your gut health can play a huge role in your mental health.

As part of Singlife’s month-long Mental Wellness and Sustainability Festival, I had the pleasure of hosting a workshop that brought together two of my biggest passions: mental wellbeing and nutrition.

We explored how the food we eat can directly influence our mood, focus, and overall mental health. And to put it all into practice, I followed up with a fun recipe demonstration.

We made a delicious Red Pepper Bean Dip, featuring ingredients known for promoting gut health, paired with tempeh chips from Mamame Tempeh. Let me tell you, it was an absolute hit with the Singlifers!

Workshops like these remind me how powerful food can be as a tool for self-care, and it was a joy to see everyone so engaged and excited to try out the nutrition strategies we discussed.
