“Once you’ve been diagnosed with diabetes […] it’s not the end of the world.
Your mind frame should switch to: now, what can I do?” 👨🏽‍⚕️

Last week, I had the privilege of moderating a panel on a topic that concerns many: diabetes.

I spoke with Dr. Vikram Sonawane, Endocrinologist and George Yeo, a person with Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) who shared his personal journey. Spoiler alert: you might not expect someone like him to be affected with T2D (he’s active, isn’t overweight, etc).
