How does one capture a fragrance?

When I first encountered PARIS – RIVIERA, the first image that came to mind was, as cheesy as it sounds, summertime in France. The sun, the long summery dresses, and plenty of fresh flowers.

This fragrance was specially picked out by Chanel’s fragrance expert Jean after I answered a few questions they had prepared. This fragrance was inspired by the atmosphere of the Côte d’Azur that Gabrielle Chanel adored, and this makes it so much more meaningful as it reminds me of the trip my brother and I made in 2017 where we drove down to Cannes in our grandad’s old Rover :’)
